In short

• Cut-off grade and metal equivalent calculations run in your browser — the numbers are not sent to the server.
• For a sensitivity report, the parameters are sent to the server only to compute it and are not stored: all that remains is a record that a report was generated (date and count).
• We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

What data we process

Account

Email, a hash of your password (we do not know the password itself), the dates of creation, email confirmation and last activity. Without them we cannot provide sign-in or count the report limit.

Report records

When sensitivity reports were granted and how many were used. The report input numbers are not in these records.

Activity log

Date and IP address of sign-ins, sign-outs, sign-up, email confirmation, password change and reset, and deactivation. For a failed sign-in attempt — also the email entered in the form (even if no account exists for it). The purpose is protecting accounts from password guessing and investigating incidents.

Sessions and cookies

A session sign-in cookie (not accessible to page scripts). For every sign-in the server stores the IP address and browser name — to end all sessions when the password changes. Analytics — only with your consent in the cookie banner.

Deactivation and deletion

• You can deactivate the account on the account page: sign-in is closed, but the data stays. Deactivation is not deletion.
• To delete the data completely, write to cog@kai-doc.com.ua. The request is completed within 30 days: the account is erased from the database and the activity log is anonymised.
• Report records (dates and counts, without name or email) are kept longer as records of services provided.
• To restore a deactivated account — a request to the same address.
